Temperatures were cold today! But the Wausau and Marathon County Parks Department went ahead with the first of two
Dog-Gone Snow Stomps scheduled for this winter. For a small fee and with proof of rabies vaccine, dogs were allowed into Athletic Park (where the Wisconsin Woodchucks play baseball). Charlie had a great time socializing with the other dogs, and was surprisingly well-behaved! We only stayed for an hour; I was getting cold and Charlie had icicles hanging from her whiskers. Hopefully the weather will be a little warmer for the next one scheduled in February.
