April is National Pet First Aid Awareness Month! Being prepared for a pet-related injury is no joke when you're out hiking... here's a link to an article I wrote last year for our friends at Dog About Town Northwest:
I always carry a small first-aid kit with me when we're out hiking... even if it's just for a couple of hours. You never know what situations you'll run into and I prefer to be prepared.
